Practices will begin the week of May 27th More info to follow Gold Silver Bronze Monday Swim practice is held in light rain, but not in thunder or lightening, when in doubt please call the pool at 967-5736. Moms are invited to join for beginner Tennis "games" on Monday Mornings at 9:00 a.m. Depending on our tennis programs, future tennis programs TBA! We also have a walking group that walks the "Altadena Fitness Track" (aka the parking lot) in the mornings during swim team practice, please join us! |
Swim Meets Swim Meets are generally on Tuesday Nights. When we host a meet at our club, parents will be expected to help with timing, team management, and stroke and turn judging. Please see Annemarie Wilson or email the webmistress to sign up early for your preferred date! Meets start at 5:00PM. Children need to be at warm ups by 3:45 when we are hosting a home meet. June 3rd- Intersquad meet & parent meeting June 10th- Brook Highland at AVCC June 17th- BYE June 24th- Liberty Park at AVCC Week of June 25th- Guppy Meet at Vestavia CC(optional) June 28th -Vestavia Invitational Meet (Optional) (Wald Park) July 1st- AVCC at Levitt jewish Center July 8th- AVCC at Trussville Y July 13th- Divisional meet at Levitt Jewish Center July 26-27- Senior Counties at the Hoover Rec Center (must have qualifying time to compete) August 10th- End of year party and awards banquet (AVCC clubhouse) At away meets team meets afterwards for dinner at a nearby restaurant check back for a listing of where we will be eating!! In the event of a rainout, (which does happen at least once) the make up meet will be held Thursday nite of that same week. Please notify Sarah or Kimberly at least 24 hours in advance, if your child is unable to swim in a meet. |
